Business Networking at Rugby Breakfast – Friday 25th May

At the May breakfast we welcome Paul Baker, Managing Director, IFS (UK) Ltd who will present a summary of the Pensions Act 2008 – Employer Duties and the FSB Pension Scheme for Members Managing Director, IFS (UK) LTd

The new ‘FSB Pension Scheme for Members’ is going down a storm as it provides a solution to the problems of the Pensions Act 2008.  IFS, a member service provider is working with FSB members to help them comply with the New Regulations.   The above Act is law and comes into effect from OCTOBER this year. It will have a significant impact on every employer in the UK.  ALL employers will be required by law to:

  • Set up and register a pension’s scheme for their employees
  • Automatically enrol all their eligible employees into it
  • Pay contributions for every employee who does not opt-out.

How is charity developing to meet the need of the community?

JO Payne, Fund Raising Manager will give current overview of the charity, the work of the operational crew and show where the charity is developing and most importantly what support we need from the Community so that we WAA can continue to provide this region with this vital life-saving service.

Jo has been with the Charity since its inception in 2002 and has seen amazing transformation and development in that time.  Initially as a volunteer she joined formally as the Fundraising Manager for Coventry and Warwickshire in 2003. Working mostly within the community and local companies across the region Jo enjoys enhancing the supporter’s fundraising to its maximum potential and utilises experience and contacts to ensure they have the best possible outcome.
